Abstract

The goal of research is to identify the role of school in developing creativity among students in the first cycle of basic education in Egypt, where creativity is considered one of the main axes dealt with by scientific research in a large number of countries, and scientific and technological progress that the world is witnessing today requires detonating the creative capabilities of a human being, as creativity has become In the present day one of the forms of human activity, scientific progress cannot be achieved without developing this creative thought, which is one of the most important functions in the fields of the human sciences, education and technology.

The school is an educational and social institution that has clear importance in encouraging creativity and development or disability through many educational methods and the roles it plays, and the teacher also has a great role in developing the creative abilities of students, and school and extra-curricular activities also play a great role in developing creativity among students, and therefore the school is considered a factory of creativity and creators, where it can be the microcosm of the larger creative society, and the school must be a department for fostering creativity and developing capabilities, so efforts and capabilities must be joined For the school to become a source for the development of creativity and to produce a creative and innovative generation capable of keeping pace with scientific and technological development.
