" An Enrichment Program Based on Differentiated Instruction in Developing 21 St Century Skills for PreparatoryStudents in Social Studies Subject

Abstract

The aim of this research is to reveal the effectiveness of the enrichment program based on the differentiated Instruction in developing the twenty-first century skills of middle school pupils, where the research problem has been identified in the pupils ’low level of twenty-first century skills acquisition, and to achieve this goal the researcher prepared (the existing enrichment program At the differentiated Instruction, the teacher's guide, the student’s handbook, the twenty-first century skills test). A random sample of first-grade middle school pupils was selected, consisting of (60) female students, and they were divided into two experimental and control groups, each of them (30) pupils. Then, the researcher taught the experimental group using the enrichment program based on the differentiated Instruction, while the control group studied in the usual way in schools, and the results resulted in the students of the experimental group being superior to the pupils of the control group in acquiring the skills of the twenty-first century, and the effectiveness of the enrichment program based on the differentiated Instruction. Used in developing the skills of the twenty-first century among female students (the research sample) in the subject of social studies (geography).
