Abstract

The current study aimed at trying to investigate the effectiveness of change leadership in the military institution, by defining the concept of changing leadership in the military, strategies of change leadership, and their obstacles, and their reflection on the efficiency of the military institution, and to achieve the research objectives. The research was conducted in Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the academic year. 1440 AH, and the descriptive and analytical approach that is based on describing phenomena and events was used by reporting their present facts, analyzing and interpreting them to come out with the conclusions needed to correct this reality, update it, or complete it to get out of it with good knowledge, and many results were produced, the most important of which is that change is one of the biggest challenges facing military institutions In order for change to achieve its goals in the military institution, it should be planned according to a specific strategy, and its success requires military leaders who understand the process of change and are able to implement and install it so that it becomes a basic culture of the institution and entrenches in the minds of subordinates, and the success of the change leadership in the military institution is also based on Specific strategies and mechanisms represented in the legislative, economic, media, security, social, and other dimensions Technology, in addition to the skills needed to lead change, which include conceptual, organizational, political, intellectual and cognitive skills.
