Abstract:
The current study aimed to identify the concept of environmental education and its objectives, and the role of Elementary in achieving sustainable development in light of Egypt's vision 2030, and the role of environmental education in Elementary schools is clear. And the extent of its achievement of the sustainable development goals stipulated in Egypt Vision 2030 through the activities carried out by the concerned authorities, which are represented in the initiatives, seminars, workshops, competition and celebrations that deal with the environmental, health and population dimensions. The study recommended the necessity to emphasize the importance of the role of Elementary schools, their activities, and their environmental programs in positively changing the behaviors and attitudes of students to achieve the goals of sustainable development, and the need to prepare field visits for students to understand the reality of environmental, health and population problems in Egypt, in order to participate in proposing ways to solve through collective action. And cooperation in favor of preserving the environment in order to achieve sustainable development for it, and encouraging students to participate in the environmental activities that the school establishes, while granting the distinguished valuable prizes, and honoring them in a decent manner, and the interest of school environmental education officials to follow up the environmental activities first, and try to give the creative side in implementing These activities are so that their schools are honored and distinguished by the concerned authorities.
