Abstract

The infection of chronic kidney failure was recorded in 2017 and 2018 (28%) and (25%), respectively, of the total number of patients with various diseases in the study area. The study highlighted that patients with kidney failure in the category of Illiteracy scored a rate of (56%), followed by educational category who read and write, and technical qualification of (25 and 12% of the total patients, respectively). The statistical analysis of the correlation coefficient by Spearman's test indicated that there is a significant correlation between the number of patients with kidney failure and the three educational categories. The results also showed that patients with kidney failure spread among the married social category, at a rate of (79%), followed by a single group at a rate of (14%) ofthe total number of patients with kidney failure among the rest of the social categories. The results also showed that the number of patients increased with the increase in the number of family members. The percentage of patients was recorded in families consisting of six or more individuals (67% of the total number of patients). It was found that the patients of the category of non-workers represented (44%) of the total patients, followed by workers in other professional occupations and the group of agricultural workers at rates of (26%) and (25%), respectively.
