Abstract

In This paper, the researcher refers to one of the obstacles to the prosperity of the ancient Egyptian civilization, and its continuity from the pre-dynastic era until the era of the New Kingdom, as Egypt's political maturity, and the existence of a system to rule the country under one banner, oscillated between periods of strength in which the Egyptian civilization flourished in all fields. Material and moral, as a result of the unification and stability of the country with the presence of strong rulers who watch over the comfort of their subjects and the progress of their country, and between periods of weakness and collapse that prevented the progress and prosperity of this civilization, as a result of the splitting of the banner of unity, struggles over governance and political instability, and although Egyptians have combined them with cultural characteristics One, and one language for speech, except that their political unity was not achieved, and reached the point of perfection until it went through several centuries of development, conflict and tracking, the researcher summarizes it in three basic stages according to the sequence of events in it, from here this study sheds light on the stages of establishing political unity between the north of the country And its south, and the times of its disintegration and the conflicts around it, and the continuity of this obstacle or not in the history of ancient Egypt.
