Abstract

The study aimed to know the current situation of special education schools in Egypt and to develop them in through the experience of Finland. The study dealt with the reality of special education schools in Egypt and Finland, The study used the descriptive approach. The study emphasized The importance of developing legislation and laws that organize the work of special education schools in a flexible and accurate manner, organize the financing of those schools, and make the school system public, without dividing students into public schools and special education schools. Developing curricula that Suitable for individual nature of students, to be flexible and adapted to suit each student based on his own needs, this is done by providing an individual curriculum Partial wide areas, in addition to that, It necessary to use Diagnostic tests, which have no relationship to success or failure, But it identifies the problem precisely, then work to provide appropriate support to overcome them, also attention must be given to preparing and training the special education teacher. To become familiar with modern strategies, and establish council to oversee the important aspects of private education schools, and this council will be an official part of the Ministry of Education, but it enjoys great independence in carrying out its tasks, with the need to grant the administration of special education schools more independence.
