Abstract

Abstract
Royalty in Egypt is based on the loyalty of the employees, But during the second half of the Old Kingdom; the royal grip started to loosen Up. monarches started to benefit from this weakness by reducing the kings’ Power to serve their positions. Since the fifth dynasty era, the burial custom inside The province started to appear clearly and the monarches started to pass on their Positions and transfer  to their children. By the time, we started noticed  appearance of provincial royal Families such as, "Shimay" family in Deir El-Gabrawi, "Damwshty" and "Baket" families In Bani Hassan, "Pepi Ankh HriIb" family in Meir.
