abstract This study aimed to uncover the differences among the psychological empowerment and mental health of secondary school teachers according to different demographic variables, and to verify the effectiveness of a counseling program in improving mental health among the experimental study sample. The study sample consisted of (200) teachers in the psychometric group, and (10) teachers in the experimental group whose ages ranged between (25-59) years. The following tools were used: Psychological Empowerment Scale - Mental Health Scale - An indicative program based on psychological empowerment skills (prepared by: The Researcher). The results of the study concluded that the program was effective in improving mental health among the study sample (experimental group).
