Abstract

The human soul accustoms to the repeated things, Although this familiarity has a hidden secret, so this familiarity distracts it from contemplating the signs of God scattered in the universe, and realizing what It contains some sermons, and since the grace habituation is the subject of my study, I have explained that it is a widespread phenomenon since ancient times. the Holy Qur’an has paid great attention to this phenomenon and referred to it in more than one place.
The study tracks and extrapolates the verses talked about the grace habituation, states the opinions of the commentators on it and relies in this on the descriptive approach based on induction and analysis. The study clarified the concept of the grace habituation, and pointed to examples of blessings that were composed by the general public. People wanted it to be renewed and continued, but most of them denied it, and it may have caused some of them to disbelieve in Allah.
Then the study showed that heedlessness, ignorance, and the abundance and renewal of blessings are among its reasons, warned against the individual and society falling into estrangement from grace, dissatisfaction, complaining, arrogance, and disbelief in Allah.
this study concluded by clarifying the Qur’anic approach of treating such a phenomenon. It emphasized that practicing gratitude, meditating on Allah’s blessings, abstaining from them, and understanding the wisdom of affliction are among the most important aids that help a person not to accustom the grace.
